We must have similar taste because Kamin overlaps with stuff I own/like time and time again. Not a stalker, but we must have some sort of overlapping criteria.

I looked at this company a while back. If my memory serves me correctly the owner was speculating (and losing) lots of company earnings in various markets. Big red flag!

Very cheap. Its's not surprising the stock has been knocked down on inflation and recession concerns, but nothing about the longer-term story has changed. They will keep buying niche manufacturers and good prices and building a bigger, more profitable company.

When Peter Kamin files a 13D the stock price goes up. When Dave Waters writes an article the stock price goes up (BUKS). That's at least one similarity.

Dave, my broker (Schwab) let's me sell the "Expert Market" holdings I have. But I can not buy them through them. Do you know of any brokers letting qualified investors buy into "Expert Market" stocks. Thanks for all your articles - I learn much. Todd

I owned BUKS but sold out recently. Management commented that traffic was lower but gambling per head was higher. I'm a little concerned about why the other players haven't come back and what happens if the big spenders become tight-fisted given economic conditions.
